The Role
As aPersonal Care Assistant, youll be part of our clients dedicated support team, providing essential care in their home. Youll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client.
This is a part-time role offering 16 hours per week. While flexibility is essential to accommodate the clients changing needs, shifts will typically be scheduled over two days per week, with working hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
About the Client & Your Responsibilities
Are you a caring, adaptable individual looking to make a real impact in someones life? Were seeking a compassionate support professional to assist a vibrant and sociable lady living with complex neurological conditions and epilepsy.
She leads an active and fulfilling lifevolunteering at the local hospital, enjoying car boot sales, gardening, crafts, and exploring new places. Your role will be to empower her to continue doing what she loves while providing the support she needs to thrive day to day.
Because her condition can be unpredictable, flexibility is key. Responsibilities may include personal care, medication administration, moving and handling (including hoist use), and general household tasks. Youll also help care for her beloved cat, Cliveso animal lovers are especially welcome.

Training & Support
We providecomprehensive, paid training(to CQC standards) before your start date, covering:
Full induction
Safeguarding Adults
First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety
Medication Administering / Personal care.
Moving & Handling with Hoists
Neurological disorders / Epilepsy
All training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at minimum wage.
Who Were Looking For
This position isfemale-only, in accordance with The Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 Part 1
Driver will a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle with business insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience and knowledge of seizures is essential.
Must be proficient in English communication skills both verbally and written.
A non-smoker if preferred.
