<div><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a HSQE Manager to lead the organisation’s health, safety, quality and environmental management systems.</p><p>As an HSQE Manager you will develop, implement and maintain ISO‑accredited frameworks including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice across all operations. You will oversee internal audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and compliance monitoring.</p><p>The HSQE Manager will work closely with senior leadership, providing management reports, driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive safety culture throughout the organisations.</p><h3>Duties</h3><ul><li>Develop, implement and maintain ISO management systems including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025 frameworks</li><li>Produce and maintain a robust compliance monitoring plan ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies</li><li>Conduct compliance reviews and audits to benchmark against standards and support external assessments</li><li>Analyse legislation, regulatory updates and industry standards to create, update policies and procedures, and implement</li><li>Produce management reports identifying non‑compliance, recommending solutions and associated costings</li><li>Provide constructive feedback and deliver training to improve efficiency and compliance awareness</li><li>Keep up to date with new legislation, codes of practice and accreditation requirements, ensuring timely implementation</li><li>Work collaboratively with team members of the Group, challenging behaviours that fall below required standards</li><li>Maintain accurate, high‑quality documentation and ensure systems are organised and accessible</li><li>Assist with routine checks, waste management processes and uphold quality assurance standards across the organisation</li></ul><h3>Candidate Requirements</h3><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>NEBOSH National Certificate</li><li>Experience working within ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 17025 frameworks</li><li>Proven experience creating, implementing and maintaining management systems with successful external audit outcomes</li><li>Previous experience in a similar HSQE, compliance or quality management role</li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, legislation and codes of practiceExcellent organisational and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation management</li><li>Strong analytical, data interpretation and problem‑solving skills</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Certificate in Implementation of Standards</li><li>Certificate in Internal and External Auditing</li><li>Membership of relevant professional institutions</li><li>Proactive, diligent and logical approach with strong attention to detail</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Holiday package of 33 days including Bank Holidays</li><li>Pension scheme</li></ul><p>Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).</p><p>Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, North West England (CH66).</p><p>Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, (Part-Time considered), 6 Month Probation Period.</p></div>
