We are requiring a Facilities Assistant to work with our client in the Exeter area. The role involves carrying out a range of daily mandatory and routine duties to facilitate the smooth running of the premises. The Facilities Assistant will support safe and efficient operations, ensuring all client requirements are met monthly. A BPSS security check is required for this role.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks
1. Undertake duties related to building and grounds operations.
2. Maintain the site’s computerised management CAFM system.
3. Communicate with suppliers via email and telephone.
4. Manage diary entries, create and update data on Excel spreadsheets, and participate in Teams meetings.
5. Control site security and manage visitor and contractor access as the first point of contact.
6. Prepare and process site paperwork for attending engineers and operatives for PPMs and reactive works.
7. Ensure all contractors operate within appropriate SHE processes and client HSE standards.
8. Handle first-line events such as fire alarm activations, power outages, and emergency maintenance callouts.
9. Perform general repairs and maintenance duties as required.
