The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for an Attending Psychiatrist in our adult inpatient psychiatry unit. The successful candidate will provide clinical treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, patient‑centered, equitable care; participate in supervision and training for 3rd and 4th year medical students and Psychiatry residents; and join a collegial and supportive department committed to career and academic development, physician and family wellness, diversity and inclusion, and excellence in patient care and medical education.
Mentorship and research opportunities are available. Faculty appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is commensurate with qualifications. There is opportunity to participate in faculty practice and optional evening and weekend coverage of our 3 Bronx hospitals for additional experience and compensation.
Eligibility: Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Psychiatry.
In addition to a competitive salary of $265,000–$300,000, you may earn more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. Benefits include LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) plan.
