Youll be helping customers resolve overdue debts, setting up sustainable payment solutions, and supporting them on their path to financial recovery. We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our expanding legal team in Sheffield. You will manage a defended caseload, assess high-value or complex pre-legal debts, and pursue defended claims through small claims, fast track, and multi-track procedures. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, witness statements, producing court bundles, advising clients on legal matters, and liaising with courts and enforcement agencies. The role also involves handling insolvency actions and return of goods claims. As our ideal candidate, you will be a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a law degree or equivalent legal qualifications. You will ideally be experience in legal collections and managing defended caseloads, particularly on the Small Claims Track. You will have proficiency with case management systems, excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be confident in making and receiving telephone calls and have the ability to work to targets and handle a variety of situations professionally.
