Location: Hybrid – Borehamwood office & field-based Nextra Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead new business development across both temporary and permanent recruitment services. This is a hybrid role combining time in the Borehamwood office with field-based activity. You’ll be responsible for generating new client relationships, scoping out recruitment opportunities, and working closely with the internal team to ensure smooth service delivery. This role requires someone who can demonstrate a solid understanding of the recruitment process (temp and perm) and who also brings proven B2B sales experience. It’s a hands-on position suited to someone who can build pipeline, close deals, and develop long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively identify and win new recruitment clients across logistics, FM, industrial and security sectors * Sell both temporary and permanent staffing solutions with confidence and clarity * Demonstrate a clear understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, vetting, and placement * Build and manage a strong, targeted sales pipeline and convert leads into live accounts * Conduct face-to-face meetings, site visits, and solution-based sales conversations * Agree commercial terms and maintain clear documentation of client arrangements * Work with the internal delivery team to ensure vacancies are understood, prioritised, and filled quickly and compliantly * Maintain client records and contribute to regular sales and pipeline reporting * This is a targeted sales role which will require on the road face to face prospecting. * Attend the Borehamwood office regularly for planning, collaboration, and team meetings What We’re Looking For: * Solid experience in recruitment (temp, perm, or both) with knowledge of how placements are delivered * Proven B2B sales track record - confident in lead generation, pipeline building, and closing deals * Ability to consult with clients and tailor solutions based on their staffing needs independently and manage relationships * Highly organised and self-motivated with a commercial mindset * Comfortable working in a hybrid setup - office, field, and occasional remote admin time * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client meetings as required * Within realistic commuting distance to Borehamwood for regular in-person collaboration What’s on Offer: * Commission * Car allowance and travel expenses * Hybrid working environment with autonomy to manage your time and pipeline within targets * Supportive team and strong internal delivery function * Long-term opportunity to grow within a recruitment business that values drive and results
