_ About the role_
We are currently looking for an experienced practice manager to oversee the daily operations of HMD Turriff. The role focuses on patient care and a qualification to FBDO level is preferred but not essential.
As practice manager, you will set the tone of the practice, ensuring its success while, working closely with professional staff and patients alike. You will be responsible for managing daily operations to deliver exceptional service, supervising staff, maintaining inventory and supplies to drive business growth.
_ Responsibilities_
Assist in patient's eyecare needs
· Support Optometrists and Hearing Aid Audiologists to maintain outstanding care
· At times participate in pre-eye test screening helping the optometrists prepare for the eye exam.
· Assist patients by making recommendations regarding frames and lenses, while helping with frame fitting.
· Advise patients on the benefits of contacts lenses and discuss the different contact lens types available.
Supervise and train staff
· Oversee team training to ensure the practice support team can assist the optometrists and provide patients with an excellent patient journey.
· Supervising and maintaining compliance with company policies, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management
· Oversee stock management and inventories.
· With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure the practice has in stock the latest eyewear trends, keeping appropriate stock levels and preferences to ensure the practice can meet our patient needs.
The ideal candidate:
· Experienced practice manager, ideally with a qualification to FBDO level
· Strong leadership and people management skills
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· Pro-active, hands-on approach to problem solving
· IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems

This is a full-time position; however, we would consider part-time/adjusted hours for the right candidate.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
