A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Fabricator.
As Fabricator, you will be responsible for carrying out fabrication work in line with the schedule and processes.
* To work with the maintenance department on repairs
* To work cross functionally on projects and improvement
* Weld and repair guarding and platforms
* Service and repair material handling equipment and trolleys
* To work with contractors on repairs
* To work with contractors on projects
* To design and analyse different repair and project options for their merits
* Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements
* Experience in MIG welding
* Experience in TIG welding (desirable)
* Experience in fabrication of multi metal components
The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years experience and apprentice trained preferred.
