What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the mechanical maintenance team, overseeing performance and development
* Managing mechanical services and contractors to ensure quality and efficiency
* Planning and supervising preventive maintenance and shutdowns
* Responding to equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions
* Managing maintenance budgets and optimising spare parts availability
* Ensuring statutory compliance, including safety device testing and PSSR-regulated systems
* Supporting audits and compliance checks
What we want from you:
* Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
* Experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering within a heavy process environment
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Ability to manage multiple contractors and maintenance contracts
* Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
