Job Title: SEN HLTA / Functional Skills
Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per day
Location: Cannock
Hours: Full-time, long-term
Smart Education is currently recruiting for an SEN HLTA / Functional Skills in the Cannock area.

Requirements
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Experience delivering or supporting Functional Skills in English and Maths
* Strong understanding of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, and MLD needs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* DBS registered on the Update Service
* Able to provide references promptly
* Must be able to complete compliance within a few days
Role Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Functional Skills sessions tailored to individual learner needs
* Support teachers in planning and adapting classroom activities
* Work closely with the SENCO and wider team to deliver targeted interventions
* Encourage independence, confidence, and progress in every learner
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
