Who are we looking for?

This customer-facing position requires the simultaneous management of a high volume of change and delivery requests for our existing community of direct corporate and Public Sector clients, adopting appropriate project governance and risk management to ensure success.

The successful candidate will be delivering a wide range of telecoms and data services including fixed line, mobile, data, UCaaS and IT-related products. The role will require them to have a broad understanding of all key products as well as a flexible, dynamic and accommodating approach to building a strong and collaborative working relationships with our strategic customers.

Project Delivery Managers are expected to understand and promote department and company strategy and goals at all times

What will you be doing day-to-day?

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering services across an established customer estate, as well as managing the rollout of changes to existing solutions. They will ensure robust governance is in place to support successful delivery and minimise the risk of unplanned service interruptions.

A key part of the role will be building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders to fully understand their needs and ensure that service delivery continues to provide measurable value.

This will require the following:

* Scope definition/agreement, planning and setting milestones
* Customer engagement and communication, setting expectations
* Building and maintaining solid relationships with customers
* Collaborative and flexible approach
* Understanding the customers requirements and timescales to manage risk and plan contingency appropriately
* Creation and maintenance of project documents such as project plans, delivery trackers and RAID logs
* Project change and scope management
* Understanding and mitigating risk to existing customer solutions
* Roll back planning and change documentation
* Management of 3rd parties and associated deliverables
* Milestone and stage management
* Management of costs and resource
* Priority and escalation management
* Revenue forecasting and reporting. Triggering billing
* Undertaking project closure activity, including handovers with customers and 3rd parties
* Reporting lessons learned
* Management reporting as required
* Accurate maintenance of Gamma systems
* Following best practice guides and agreed delivery approaches

They will play a key role in adding value to the end to end customer experience, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. They will build and foster a deep understanding of and empathy with the customer and their solution.

The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and training as requested by your line manager, appropriate to your grade

What you'll need:

* Background in Telecoms / Data industry
* Background in customer delivery and project
* Experience with data and / or telecoms products
* Flexible with an accommodating approach
* Excellent written & verbal communications skills
* Ability to build and nurture positive relationships
* A keen eye for detail and exemplary time keeping
* Cool under pressure and able to multi-task
* Strong sense of ownership and flexible / dynamic approach to problem-solving
* Commercial awareness
* Able to work and make decisions independently
* Ability and motivation to learn from experience and constantly update skills/knowledge
* Eager and capable of learning new skills
* Ability to organise information/time effectively
* Exemplary prioritisation, organisation and time-management skills
