CNC Machinist – Step Off the Machines
Up to £19.00 per hour | Day Shift | Early Finish Friday
Tired of running machines all day?
Prefer the setup, tooling, and planning side of the job?
This role lets you stay in Engineering without being stood at a CNC all shift.
What’s Different?
* No full-time machine operating
* Focus on tooling, setup prep, and organisation
* Less physical, but still hands-on
Play a key role in keeping production running smoothly
The Role
* Prepare tooling, fixtures, and gauges for upcoming jobs
* Check job packs and setup requirements for accuracy
* Ensure everything is ready before it reaches the machine
* Monitor tooling stock and flag shortages
* Support machinists with urgent jobs when needed
