The Anglian Water @one Alliance is a totally collaborative organisation made up of nine partner companies (Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, and Skanska) and an extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. We are gearing up for our AMP8 programme, delivering a larger portfolio than ever before, with a focus on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes. Electrical Engineer – What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets and drawings.
* Design and specify LV Assemblies (e.g., MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels) with specifications, schedules, data sheets and drawings.
* Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (e.g., electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams).
* Liaise with the project team, operations, suppliers, and utility companies on technical issues.
* Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
About You
You will ideally have:
* Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
* Strong Electrical Engineering background
* A willingness to collaborate and work with a multi-disciplined team to solve complex problems
* Experience in the Water Industry is an advantage
* As site visits will be required, you will need a full UK driving licence.
