Contracts Manager

Gentech Recruitment is partnering with a client in Newtownabbey to recruit a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will work with an established commercial project management team and an in-house M&E design team utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Liaise regularly with clients through online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and review upcoming work.
3. Ensure managers and site teams work efficiently, with high-level objectives set and met within target dates.
4. Confirm project value, drawings, specifications, and orders are agreed upon before work begins.
5. Coordinate with project teams to populate templates and set out for construction.
6. Procure plant and equipment according to specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project expenditure and communicate with operations and commercial teams.
8. Assess labor and sub-contractor needs for installation work and team expansion.
9. Review and assist in the preparation and evaluation of monthly applications from clients and sub-contractors.
10. Provide accurate contract variation information for monthly valuations.
11. Attend monthly meetings to discuss team performance and project budgets.
12. Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals and compile all as-built drawings and certificates.
13. Track project performance weekly and report progress to clients.
14. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Minimum Requirements
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ownership of duties with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Management experience delivering projects from £3m to £10m.
