Branch Team Manager – Driving Excellence in Legal Services


📍 Location: Oxford | 💰 Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Per Annum + Bonus

The Opportunity: Branch Team Manager

As a Branch Team Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Legal Advisors at a branch, ensuring excellence in legal advice, client service, compliance, and business performance. You will drive team engagement, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the branch’s growth and success. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality legal services while supporting the commercial objectives of Right Legal Group.


🔑 What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Collaboration

* Lead, mentor, and coach both new and experienced Legal Advisors to enhance their legal expertise and client service delivery.
* Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and structured team meetings to support development and engagement.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with Right Legal Group’s values.
* Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across departments.
* Manage performance proactively by setting clear expectations, addressing underperformance, and recognising high achievement.
* Support the recruitment and selection process for new Legal Advisors, ensuring candidates align with the firm’s values and service standards.
* Work closely with the HR and Training teams to support internal communications and promote employee engagement initiatives.
* Provide coaching and development opportunities for Legal Advisors to support their career growth.


Legal & Compliance

* Oversee and manage a personal caseload involving Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Ensure all team members adhere to SRA regulations and internal compliance standards.
* Monitor case quality and implement best practices to maintain high legal and ethical standards.
* Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and client care.
* Review matters regularly to maximise quality and ensure consistency in legal service delivery.
* Utilise the case management system effectively to optimise the progression and timely resolution of matters.
* Proactively keep up to date with changes in legislation and market conditions to ensure your team’s advice remains current and relevant.
* Ensure all legal documents are completed in accordance with SRA requirements and internal quality standards.


Client Experience

* Ensure clients receive the RightWill process efficiently and effectively, maintaining high service standards.
* Maximise client feedback to identify opportunities for local service improvements.
* Facilitate feedback collection through client review sites to enhance transparency and reputation.
* Process and resolve client complaints in line with the complaints policy, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
* Monitor client satisfaction metrics to drive continuous service enhancement and responsiveness.


Performance

* Monitor and report on individual and team performance against KPIs, including client satisfaction, compliance, and conversion rates.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Implement strategies to improve service delivery, client engagement, and commercial outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Director to support branch-level initiatives and referral partner performance.
* Drive daily, monthly, and annual targets through effective planning and team motivation.
* Support local marketing campaigns by conducting meetings with community groups and organisations.
* Act as an ambassador for the branch, building relationships in the local area to drive referrals and raise brand awareness

* Strong legal experience in Private Client Law, particularly in Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney.

* A results-driven mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
* Excellent organisational skills, including diary management and performance tracking.
* High energy and drive to support the team in achieving daily, monthly, and yearly targets
