Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities
* Supervise a team of operatives and drivers.
* Ensure all team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently.
* Plan and take action to achieve service level targets.
* Educate the team on business goals and service objectives.
* Ensure the team follows safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices during the shift.
Working hours
40 hours per week.
Shift pattern
* Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00 day shift.
* Monday – Friday 12:30 – 21:30 back shift.
Salary
£16.57 per hour.
Qualifications
* Experience managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment (desirable).
* Ability to manage own and team’s time effectively with attention to detail.
* Energetic and enthusiastic.
* Strong customer focus.
* Good communication skills.
