Head of IT - Wholesale Projects
Location: Belfast or Dublin (Hybrid) | Type: Full-Time | Permanent
A leading retail and wholesale organisation is seeking a Head of IT to drive strategic technology initiatives across its wholesale operations in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a high-impact role where youll collaborate with business leaders to deliver digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
What Youll Do:
* Shape and deliver technology roadmaps across wholesale and retail operations
* Lead cross-functional IT projects from concept to completion
* Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and technical strategies
* Oversee budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
* Identify new opportunities for innovation and process improvement
* Guide teams through tech transitions, including in-store and eCommerce platforms
What Youll Bring:
* Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT leadership, digital strategy, and systems delivery
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to bridge business and technical needs
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
* A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on user experience and outcomes
* Ability to work across hybrid environments and adapt to shifting priorities
Desirable:
* Background in retail or wholesale operations
* Experience with Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery models
* Passion for customer-facing technologies and scalable architecture
