About the Role
Are you a passionate leader ready to make a difference? Join us at our Bognor Regis Resort as a Venue Manager in our Buffets department! In this exciting role, you’ll play a crucial part in creating smiles for our guests by delivering exceptional dining experiences.
As a Venue Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for serving breakfast and dinner in our self-service restaurants. Your enthusiasm for developing people and commitment to guest satisfaction will shine as you nurture, train, and coach your team in a fun-filled environment.
In this role, you will:
* Drive standards and lead your team to excellence, ensuring adherence to brand standards and Butlin’s way of working.
* Report to the Senior Manager and thrive in a busy environment, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Analyze KPIs, facilitate team training, and uphold food safety and health & safety policies.
Your passion for leading by example will inspire others to deliver delightful experiences for our guests. You’ll advocate for your team’s fulfillment at work, conducting regular one-on-ones and personal development discussions to support their growth with Butlin’s.
At Butlin’s, no two days are the same! You’ll need to think on your feet, get involved, and ensure that guest experience remains your top priority. Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with shifts between 7 am - 9 pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* Prior experience in a volume catering and/or food environment.
* A strong guest-facing background, adept at handling queries and complaints.
* A passion for leading and developing a team through regular coaching and support.
* Experience managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes.
* The ability to work with a multi-skilled team to meet guest demands.
Your focus on delivering amazing guest experiences is essential. You should seek opportunities to enhance every interaction and demonstrate proficiency in:

* Delivering team training and setting high standards.
* Problem-solving and providing constructive feedback.
