In this exciting role, you’ll play a key part in analysing and interpreting waste and recycling data to support service delivery, compliance with national legislation, and the development of targeted waste‑related projects. You’ll help monitor waste tonnages, support reuse and minimisation initiatives and contribute to the Council’s sustainability and circular economy goals.
What you’ll do:
* Collect, analyse and interpret data from a variety of waste and recycling sources to support service delivery and strategic decision‑making.
* Use data insights to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance with national legislation.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to national reporting systems.
* Support the development and delivery of data‑driven projects focused on waste minimisation, reuse and sustainability.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure data quality and consistency across reporting streams.
* Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of service performance, helping to shape future improvements.

* Experience working independently and managing workloads effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
