Brook Street Social Care is seeking a reliable, dynamic, and caring Support Worker to cover maternity period of up to 10 months to provide one-to-one support to a vibrant and fun-loving young adult with complex needs, based in the Mellor area of Stockport. ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL You'll be supporting a young person who lives life to the fullest! Their hobbies include: Drumming & rock music Trips to the cinema & love for the Marvel Universe Video gaming sessions Skiing, football, and attending football matches Each day is different, and your support will help them experience it all with confidence and independence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting personal care and manual handling Driving the client's adapted vehicle (clean UK licence essential) Facilitating college work and therapy sessions Assisting with community activities and outings Following client-specific training and support plans SHIFT DETAILS You'll be required to work 3-4 shifts per week, on a rotating basis.
