Overview
Paralegal Team Leader (5455) — we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Team Leader to join our secured litigation team. The role is responsible for the day-to-day running of a team of paralegals, ensuring work is carried out to high standards of accuracy and quality in line with department productivity, goals and morale.
Responsibilities
* Support and develop colleagues through monthly reviews, annual performance reviews and coaching. Set objectives for the team and regularly review performance against those objectives.
* Manage all responsibilities for your team and specifically manage resources to ensure full productivity and client service at all times.
* Monitor the performance of your team and provide feedback to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and quality to achieve targets and objectives.
* Complete monthly quality monitoring, feedback and coaching of team members to ensure quality standards are achieved.
* Run weekly team briefs, communicating key messages (e.g., team performance) and ensure important developments are passed on and aligned with regulatory and commercial processes and procedures.
* Oversee day-to-day operation of the team.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar position.
* Sound knowledge of all aspects of the Debt Recovery process is preferred.
* Ability to direct and motivate staff to meet fluctuating levels of demand.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to analyse problems and provide effective solutions.
* Ability to empathise with clients while retaining an objective and realistic approach to individual circumstances.
* Think creatively to overcome barriers and produce alternative solutions to problems.
* Be forward thinking and have a proactive way of working.
* Manage time effectively to plan and organize key priorities for the month to ensure key deliverables are met.
