Role summary
We're looking for multiple sessional youth workers who can join our team. We want people who are passionate about supporting young people in a range of settings to enable young people to take part in our youth activities.
Within your role you will actively engage adults and young people, including SEN groups, in youth and community activities across a range of settings.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST
The post holders will support the delivery of youth and community activities as part of our youth clubs, holiday activities, social action community events and workshops.
Within your role you will actively engage adults and young people, including SEN groups, in youth and community activities across a range of settings.
The Sessional youth workers will develop trusted relationships with young people and adult participants enable them to access the best quality interventions and create inclusive and supportive environments for them to develop personal, emotional and social skills.
Sessional workers will also work with partners, representing Groundwork at events and sessions.
Delivery
· Support delivery of a range of youth and community activities.
· Support the delivery of events and workshops
· Listen to and support young people and adults to engage with activities.
· Contribute to the planning and designing of projects.
· Keep young people and adults safe
Business & Service Development
· Support the improvement of services and activities that benefit participants.
Financial & Resource Management
· Manage session and event-based resources
