Duties as Supply Teacher (Year 2): Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum. Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and pupil engagement. Provide a consistent and calm classroom environment during the absence period. Mark work in line with school policy and provide constructive feedback. Communicate effectively with support staff and contribute to the wider school day. Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are upheld at all times. Support continuity of learning across the long-term cover period. Ideal Supply Teacher (Year 2): QTS qualification and experience teaching within KS1. Confident delivering the Year 2 curriculum and adapting lessons when required. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive approach. Reliable, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards. Able to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff. Passionate about providing high-quality learning experiences.
