Job Description
* Pay: £13.97 per hour plus nights premium (where applicable)
* Job Type: Permanent
* Hours: 42 per week
* Schedule: 12 hour shifts including days, nights and weekends
* Location: Stadium 2 - South Elmsall
Working in a fast paced, ever changing Distribution Warehouse with the leading technologies in warehousing and logistics, our Maintenance Assistants will work alongside a team of apprentice trained engineers, maintaining state of the art systems to ensure a smooth flow through the Warehouse.
About the Role:
* Work closely with the Maintenance Engineers and Site Maintenance Managers on repairs and breakdowns.
* Follow Health & Safety requirements at all times
* Use the correct PPE provided when carrying out tasks
* Ensure all equipment is maintained and clear blockages and jams
* Cleaning of all equipment following approved company methods
* Carry out routine tasks on ancillary equipment and monitor system performance
* Complete paperwork and hand to Site Maintenance Engineer.
About You:
* Have the ability to prioritise and manage own workload, with excellent organisational and problem solving skills
* Be a real team player with a proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situations
* Have a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work flexibly
* Experience working in an automated warehouse would be an advantage
* Willingness to follow instructions
* Computer literate
