Power Platform / Copilot Engineer
Up to £60k | Hybrid – Offices in Essex /Hampshire/Surrey
AI is no longer a "future idea" – it's already transforming how businesses run.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just want to
use
Copilot… but actually build it.
This is your chance to get in at the ground floor of a Private Equity-backed Microsoft Partner that's scaling rapidly to deliver Cloud and AI innovation to mid-market and enterprise customers.
They're going all-in on Power Platform and Copilot – starting with internal adoption ("customer zero") and rapidly building out solutions that can be rolled to customers.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and building Copilot Studio agents that solve real business problems (Finance, HR, Sales, Service Desk).
* Automating workflows with Power Automate – approvals, ticketing, invoice handling, data flows – you'll spot the manual steps and kill them off.
* Creating and extending Power Apps & Dataverse solutions (model-driven apps, forms, asset management, IT project tracking).
* Linking agents and apps into wider systems via APIs, connectors, and integration (e.g. Autotask, Teams, SharePoint, SQL).
* Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and tech – sitting with Finance, Sales, or Ops to ask,
"Why are you doing this manually?"
and turning it into an automated, AI-driven process.
* Helping shape a repeatable "Copilot in a box" offering that can be taken to customers.
What you'll bring
* Solid Power Platform experience: Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse.
* Comfort with building and integrating workflows across M365 and third-party systems.
* Exposure to Copilot Studio / conversational agents (or appetite to get deep into it fast).
* Working knowledge of APIs, data integration, and basic scripting (PowerShell, JSON, etc.).
* A customer-facing mindset – you can talk business language as well as technical detail.
Why this role is different
* You won't just be a "back-office builder." You'll be
defining the playbook
for how Copilot and Power Platform get delivered to customers.
* Early doors – you'll work directly with leadership, influencing the direction of their AI and automation capability.
* Backed by PE investment, with the scale-up pace and ambition that comes with it.
* Clear runway: internal adoption first, customer rollouts second – with you in the middle of it all.
The deal...
* Salary up to £60k + Benefits
* Hybrid role – ideally based in/around Essex/Hampshire/Surrey for stakeholder meetings
* A scaling Microsoft Partner where Cloud + AI innovation is the growth engine
If you're looking to move from Power Platform Engineer into AI + Automation Consultant, this is the step.
