Chippindale Plant is looking for a skilled Accommodation/Cabin Fitter to join our team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading name in plant hire and contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our welfare unit fleet. About the Role As an Accommodation Fitter, youll be responsible for maintaining, refurbishing, and modernising our fleet of welfare unitseither in our depot or on customer sites. Your work will ensure all units meet company standards and comply with HSE hire regulations, delivering a good-as-new experience for every hire. Key Responsibilities Manual preparation for painting and decorating Plumbing installations and repairs Fitting windows, doors, wall and ceiling panels General maintenance and bespoke refurbishment works Assisting electricians with fittings Use of power tools and heavy lifting Flooring removal and replacement Cleaning and decontamination of units Attending reactive maintenance calls Completing all paperwork and system reports accurately Adhering to health & safety policies and attending training courses We are Looking for someone that has Experience servicing and repairing welfare units Ability to work independently and take initiative Level 2 NVQ in Modular & Portable Building (desirable) FLT Counterbalance Licence (desirable) CSCS Card (required) Full UK Driving Licence (preferred) Why Join Us?
