Role : Finance Assistant - Hybrid working
Salary : Pro rata salary £17, (FTE salary £29,)
Hours : 22.5 hours across 3 days per week (Mondays and Fridays necessary)
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial matters.
* Handling supplier invoices, bank transfers, and reconciliations.
* Managing the sales ledger and checking recurring invoices for new tenants.
* Maintaining accurate accounting systems and financial records.
* Collaborating with staff to monitor tenant debtors and control income.
* Overseeing financial processing and bookkeeping.
* Managing the expend card system, expense claims and holding small petty cash pot.
* Managing and maintaining our client's financial software systems.
Requirements:
* Experience within a similar role.
* Experience using Quickbooks/Xero or similar accounting software.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable working independently and using initiative.
* IT literate, with advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using Excel.
* AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a charity or property/housing organisation desirable.
