Perhaps you have been involved in continuous improvement project and are now ready to move into a full-time continuous improvement role. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency and enhancing processes within the organisation. By analysing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven improvement initiatives, the officer aims to optimise resource utilisation and reduce waste. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards whilst supporting key infrastructure projects. Duties Process Analysis and Optimisation: Analyse current production and business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Develop and implement optimised processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs Project Management: Lead and manage improvement projects from start to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives Performance Measurement: Improve, refine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives Stakeholder Engagement: As part of the Industrial Operations Team, Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, IT, and HR, to ensure comprehensive and effective implementation of improvement strategies. Change Management: Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems across the industry organisation Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by supporting ‘on the project’ training opportunities, identifying resources, and supporting employees at all levels.
