For this role you will be working with one of the UK’s leading logistics providers and you will provide expectational customer service to ensure their transport department runs smoothly and successfully.
What to expect?
Monday to Friday, 0700-1500, £12.31 per hour, Temporary on going
You will be communicating with customers, delivery sites and inhouse teams, including drivers about any issues, ETA’s and delays.
Ensuring that all systems and logs are up to date
Handling inbound calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate with the goods-in department to book any additional haulage or backhaul jobs as required.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a Customer Service environment preferably with a logistics, delivery, or transport business.
Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS) (preferred).
