CNC Turner
Location: Wareham. Pay: £15.50 – £22.50 per hour.
Experienced CNC programmers and setters are required for a well‑established precision engineering company based in Poole. Working within a busy engineering environment, you will be responsible for producing quality components to tight tolerances while supporting efficient day‑to‑day production.
Key Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
* Editing programs and making tooling adjustments
* Carrying out tool setting and offset adjustments
* Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
* Completing self‑inspection checks
* Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
* Following health & safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
* Previous CNC programming and setting experience
* Experience using Fanuc controls or similar systems
* Ability to work from engineering drawings
* Good understanding of machining processes and tolerances
* Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* A reliable and proactive approach to work
Candidates with transferable CNC machining experience are also encouraged to apply.
