Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our baby room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, promoting their development through engaging activities and play.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality childcare and education to children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring that individual needs are met.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Collaborate with team members to manage daily routines and ensure smooth operations within the nursery.
* Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Skills
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar childcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage groups of children effectively while fostering a positive atmosphere.
* Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate others within the team.
* A drive to continually improve personal skills and knowledge in childcare practices.
