Maintenance Supervisor
Leading housing provider working in Bristol – responsible for overseeing and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities across multiple large retirement housing locations.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, including grounds and facilities, across multiple large retirement housing locations.
* Ensure a safe, comfortable and well‑maintained living environment for residents while leading and managing a team of maintenance staff.
* Provide leadership to the location maintenance team and apply extensive knowledge of building systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of designated locations.
* Supervise, train, and manage a team of maintenance staff across multiple complex locations, assigning tasks, setting schedules, and monitoring performance to ensure high‑quality work and timely completion of work orders.
* Utilise a trade background to carry out minor repairs where possible and drive a high‑performance culture within the team, with an aspiration to carry out more repairs ourselves and offer an excellent repair service to residents and location teams.
Qualifications
Ideally suited for someone with a trade background who is looking to step into a supervisor role.
