Most pupils also have Autism and additional physical/sensory disabilities. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be co-coordinating with various health care professional and class teachers. Ensuring that all pupils have the best support. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
