We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Student Experience and Support Department as a Pastoral Support Officer on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only (over 38 weeks) basis.

The Manchester College is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to provide emotional, behavioural, and safeguarding support to our learners. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusion. Experience in education, youth work, or support services is essential. The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. Responsibilities
* Provide emotional, behavioural, and safeguarding support to learners.
* Work closely with teaching staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
* Support student wellbeing and inclusion initiatives within the Student Experience and Support Department.
Qualifications
* Experience in education, youth work, or support services is essential.
