Job Title: Employee Relations (ER) Specialist
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced, field-based ER specialist to manage operational ER cases within our retail stores.
Responsibilities include:
1. Serving as a point of escalation for sensitive ER issues, promoting informal conflict resolution to minimize formal proceedings.
2. Guiding managers and colleagues through complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, and dismissals.
3. Working closely with store teams to de-escalate conflicts and facilitate solutions.
4. Traveling to various store locations to provide face-to-face support.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, particularly in employee relations and case management.
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, handling emotional situations effectively.
* Experience in mediation and influencing stakeholders to resolve issues proactively.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working in a commercial environment with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
