The Booth Centre is a residential Lifehouse accommodating up to 46 homeless vulnerable adults, and we are looking for a Support Worker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of Support Worker with The Salvation Army is inspirational and key to achieving successful outcomes for our vulnerable clients. As a motivated and dynamic Support Worker, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality support programme that promotes client choice and control. You will address client support needs, enable positive life changes, and empower clients to lead more sustainable lifestyles.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
* Knowledge of the benefits system and an understanding of supported housing funding streams and reporting requirements
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* A passion for transforming the lives of people experiencing homelessness
