We're looking for a passionate and motivated individual to take on the role of Manager of our first Game Store for Farplace Games. We have 40 charity shops but this store will be new goods, selling tabletop games, RPGs, CCGs, and related items as well as light snacks.
About the Role
As manager of Farplace Animal Rescue's first game store, you'll play a crucial role in building a new model of shop for the charity. You'll run the shop smoothly, recruit volunteers and build networks with the local gaming community.
Key Responsibilities
* Running the new game store in all its aspects
* Completing end of day cashing up and weekly cash reconciliation
* Managing the training and supervision of volunteers
* Delivering excellent customer service to shop visitors
* Managing stock processing, ordering and merchandising
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment
* Acting as a keyholder and ensuring shop security as required
What We're Looking For
* A good knowledge of the tabletop or RPG game world
* Previous retail experience is an advantage
* A team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to supporting the shop's success. Willing to work Wed to Sun hours (10-6 Wed-Thu, 12-8 Fri-Sun)
* Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of volunteers.
* A keen eye for detail and an interest in retail presentation.
* Understanding of the values and goals of a charity organisation.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
