Overview
Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities. Permanent, Full Time, Rochdale based. Lead the Service Managers and wider team across 8 supported living services and outreach across Manchester and some in Merseyside. This is a role with a focus on improving quality of life for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and physical disabilities within an inclusive environment that values staff and those supported.
About the role: You will lead services to ensure the health and wellbeing of individuals supported and work with colleagues to unlock potential. You will uphold quality and governance, delivering outstanding care in line with legal, statutory and regulatory obligations. You will coach and mentor colleagues, lead from the front, maintain service oversight, manage annual leave and training compliance, and develop strong relationships with families, external professionals and regulators.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Service Managers and the wider team across 8 supported living services and outreach sites in Manchester and Merseyside.
* Ensure the health and wellbeing of individuals supported and support colleagues to help them achieve their potential.
* Maintain quality and governance, delivering outstanding care in line with legal, statutory, and regulatory obligations.
* Be present in services to coach and mentor staff, and lead by example.
* Provide strong service oversight, balance operations with annual leave, run regular team meetings, and ensure training compliance is maintained.
* Develop strong relationships with families, external professionals and regulators to support collaborative working.
* Knowledge of and experience with CQC legislation and guidelines.
* Budgeting and financial management experience.
Qualifications
* Process-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
* Experience of working with learning disabilities and/or mental health or complex behaviours across multiple sites.
* Ideally an established Registered Manager seeking a new challenge.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality and governance.
* Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or qualified by experience.
* Strong leadership values and excellent communication with the ability to influence at different levels.
* Excellent time management and ability to work on own initiative with a continuous improvement mindset.
