Casual Ballerz is enjoying the most exciting period in its history and we’re looking for up and coming Physiotherapists or Sports Therapists to join our team for the 2024/2025 season.
This is a casual part time training/match-day role working weekends and weekday evenings.
We are looking for proactive individuals with a forward-thinking and problem-solving attitude, who understands their scope of practice, and who seeks to develop their skills.
Main Accountabilities
● To provide training/matchday cover to players (mostly Saturday afternoons and/or weekday evenings) within a flexible rota
● Complete emergency medical equipment checks prior to matches
● Knowledge of acute injury management programs and injury prevention
strategies.
● Record all matchday injuries and treatment delivered.
● Refer injured players for additional assessment/treatment as appropriate (A&E,
GP, Club Doctor)
● Understanding of growth and maturation and its implications on the development
of athletes
● Effective and appropriate communication skills, and high standards of professionalism.
● To ensure that any concerns you observe, or are raised with you in your role, are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels.

Person Specification - Essential Personal Characteristics
● Undergraduate Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy Degree or equivalent field (completed or working towards)
● Able to work matchdays, including evenings and weekends
● Able to commit to regular requests to attend training sessions and games as
required
● Able to drive with access to own vehicle
● Able to work in a team and independently
● Embody Club values – togetherness, respect, effort, leadership, self discipline and self direction
