This is a brilliant opportunity to join a listed business with big growth plans as a Finance Manager. It’s a broad, hands-on role working from their newly refurbished Head Office (with hybrid working), where you’ll lead a small team, take ownership of the management accounts process, and drive improvements across finance operations.

The role itself

You’ll report to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with stakeholders across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Leading and mentoring a team of three Accounts Associates (all studying towards qualification)
* Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Commission Control Accounts
* Owning the month-end and year-end close for the main trading entities, delivering accurate management accounts to Group deadlines
* Maintaining robust balance sheet controls and reconciliations
* Providing evidence and explanations to support the external audit
* Identifying and embedding process improvements to strengthen controls and increase efficiency
* Partnering with wider teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
