We are recruiting for the Permanent Position of an Automation Field Engineer.
Our client is an international company that manufactures and installs bespoke automated cutting‑edge machines in manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe, and around the world.
Basic Salary from £44,000 to £45,000 plus overtime pay, company car, pension, 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, and a benefits package.
Skills and Requirements
* Electrical background with some mechanical experience
* HND or HNC qualified
* Apprentice trained
* Ability to read planned machine drawings
* Experience with PLCs and machine automation control systems
* Proven experience with fault finding, servicing & machine installation
* Confident working with complex automated machinery
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
* Ability to work with customers and complete technical reports & documentation
* Travel flexibility for services, new machine installations, and training
* Full UK driving licence
