Role Overview

As a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic direction for revenue growth and brand development. You will design and deliver integrated strategies to expand our market presence, optimise customer acquisition, and drive sustainable growth across B2B and B2C channels.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring a commercially driven individual who can operate strategically while delivering high-quality execution.


Key Responsibilities

* Strategy and planning: Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to develop a cohesive sales and marketing strategy aligned with core business objectives and market opportunities.
* Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
* Execute integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, PR, and traditional) to promote the full product portfolio.
* Ensure a seamless, customer-centric journey across all online and offline touchpoints.
* Budget & performance management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring ROI through efficient resource allocation and cost-effective campaign execution.
* Define and monitor KPIs across sales and marketing performance using digital analytics. Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to the Board.
* Brand management: Develop and evolve the Sonaspection brand, ensuring strong positioning within target markets.
* Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all communications, channels, and territories.
* Content and collateral management: Lead the development of high-quality marketing materials (digital and print), including brochures, website content, PR, advertising, and event collateral, from design to distribution.
* Oversee content creation to ensure clarity, technical accuracy, and alignment with brand voice
* Manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
* Sales enablement and commercial growth: Support and enable distributors and resellers with tools, training, and collateral to drive revenue and maintain brand consistency
* Develop and implement a structured European sales strategy.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial sectors.
* Help manage key European accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
* Represent Sonaspection at industry events and exhibitions.
* Optimize sales and marketing processes, systems, and CRM usage
* Identify and implement opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and margin improvement
* Oversee website and e-commerce performance, including SEO optimisation and user experience
* Events and industry presence: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop the strategy for international trade shows and industry events
* Manage aspects of event delivery, including stand design, stand collateral and merchandise, logistics, and on-site representation where required
* Marketing project management and stakeholder communication: Ensure clear, consistent communication of value propositions across internal teams, partners, and customers.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Lead and deliver marketing projects aligned with strategic objectives
* Effectively manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders across multiple initiatives
* Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture within a small team environment
* Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post-holder may be required to undertake other duties which are broadly in line with above key responsibilities.


Key attributes / person specification

* Degree or professional qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
* 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or B2B.
* Ability to write high quality, engaging copy for digital or print media.
* Previous experience of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation and revenue growth
* Strong commercial awareness and results-driven mindset
* Excellent copywriting and content development skills (digital and print)
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, and analytics tools
* Experience managing brand consistency across multiple channels and markets
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
* Creative, innovative, and focused on delivering exceptional customer experience
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard marketing tools
* Experience working with distributors or international sales channels
* Experience in trade show and event management
* Familiarity with SEO, website management, and e-commerce platforms
