Job Description
As a Head of Finance & Controlling UK, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, supporting operational and strategic financial management across the business. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to influence key financial decisions and be supported by the regional head of controlling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
2. Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
3. Supporting cashflow management and providing recommendations to senior management.
4. Preparation of year-end audit files and liaison with external auditors.
5. Development of financial models and reporting tools to drive business performance.
6. Supporting and mentoring finance team members.
7. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Experience:
8. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
9. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
10. Confident communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
11. Proactive and able to manage competing priorities independently.
12. Experience using SAP, construction, manufacturing, or project-based finance is desirable but not essential.
This is a fast-growing company, and the candidate needs to be willing to contribute across a range of issues both inside and outside of finance.
The successful candidate will have experience managing P&L& balance sheet and adhere to controls that ensure accurate monthly reporting of the financial statements.
