Job Description
The In-house Retail and Private Banking Lawyer will be:
3. Advising on legal and regulatory risks across retail and private banking products and services
4. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex banking documentation and agreements
5. Providing legal support for product launches, regulatory change and compliance matters
6. Working closely with business and risk teams to mitigate legal exposure and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
7. Supporting risk-management strategy and governance for retail & private banking operations
The Successful Applicant
The In-house Retail and Private Banking Lawyer should be:
8. A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE
9. Experienced in consumer product regulatory work and advising on insurance products or private banking ideally
10. Strong with regulatory risk, compliance, contract drafting and negotiation
11. Comfortable working collaboratively across business, risk and compliance teams
12. Able to manage complex legal issues in a fast-moving banking environment
What's on Offer
Salary between £90 - 105k dependent on experience plus benefits.
