We are seeking a talented and experienced Internal Engagement & Communications Manager to lead employee engagement initiatives at SYNLAB UK & Ireland.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will lead and implement employee engagement initiatives supporting organisational transformation, TUPE processes, and reward & recognition campaigns, primarily focusing on SYNLAB's operations in Essex and Manchester.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
* Design and deliver internal communication and engagement plans aligned with SYNLAB's five-year strategy.
* Develop and execute communication strategies related to employee reward, recognition, consultation, and engagement activities.
* Collaborate with HR, transformation teams, clinical leads, and partner Trusts to ensure consistent, tailored messaging.
* Act as a DEI ambassador and role model for SYNLAB's values and behaviours.
* Demonstrate proven experience in internal communications and employee engagement at manager level or above.
* Work with HR and senior stakeholders on TUPE, consultation, or workforce transformation.
* Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Manage projects and stakeholders effectively.
* Possess high proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
* Hold a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* Maintain professional membership (e.g., IOIC or CIPR).
* Experience in pathology, NHS, or communications consultancy is desirable.
* Skills in video editing, email platforms (e.g., DotDigital), or intranet launches are advantageous.
