Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Welders/Fabricator for a company based in Warrington area.
Job title: Welder/Fabricator
Job location: Warrington, Cheshire
Hourly pay rate: £15.00 per hour. +Overtime
Shifts: Days
Hours per week: 39 hours plus overtime
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Temp to Perm
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Key Objectives
You will be working in our specialist bodybuilding team. You will be responsible for assisting in
producing a finished vehicle body to a high level of quality.
You will be working with various materials including hardwoods, steel, and aluminium and working from
technical drawings.
A high level of skill is required to perform various tasks including assembly of parts, drilling, cutting,
riveting, welding, and grinding
Responsibilities Include:
· Following technical drawings and specification sheets
· Must be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targets.
· Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
· Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
· Maintaining production area housekeeping
· Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently!
· Always Maintaining a safe working environment
The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from
time to time to perform other duties.
We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.
Key skills and experience
This role is ideally suited to a hands-on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual.
Suitable candidates will have:
· Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
· High quality assembly experience of specified materials such as hardwoods, steel, and aluminium
· Demonstrate skillset using various hand tools.
· Reading and working from drawings
· Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained.
