Job Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand for individuals concerned about potential gas escapes or activated carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with emergency services on behalf of our customers, contributing to the protection of lives. Many customers may be vulnerable, elderly, or seeking help. Your empathy and dedication to safety are vital.
2. This role is diverse, involving installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial clients, conducting high-rise and safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Experience and Qualifications
* Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Must hold a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; MET1 is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Experience with gas environments, including knowledge of appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning.
* Understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety regulations.
* Full UK driving license.
