Description Highly regarded community organisation Salary packaging up to $15,900 Doncaster location Part Time (19 hours per week) About the role MannaCare is seeking an experienced and motivated Community Support Worker – Team Leader to support our community services team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients living in the community. This role combines leadership and hands-on support. The successful candidate will guide and mentor Community Support Workers while occasionally providing direct support to clients. You will play an important role in ensuring services are delivered in accordance with MannaCare’s values, policies and relevant aged care standards. Key responsibilities • Provide leadership, guidance and support to a team of Community Support Workers • Mentor and coach staff to support performance and development • Ensure services are delivered in line with care plans and client goals • Occasionally provide direct client support including personal care and activities • Ensure services comply with Home Care Standards and MannaCare policies • Monitor service quality and ensure accurate completion of case notes and incident reports • Escalate staff or service delivery issues to management when required • Work in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and complete mandatory training About you • Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Community Support Worker or similar role • Demonstrated experience working in aged care or community services • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to write progress notes and follow care plans • NDIS Worker Screening Check • Current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle if required • Basic computer literacy and ability to use client management systems Benefits: Above award rate of pay Reimbursement of travel expenses Supportive and collaborative work environment Ongoing training Employee Assistance Program Competitive rate of pay with NFP Salary packaging up to $15,900 Novated leasing Meals and Entertainment Card up to $2,650 per annum How to apply If you are passionate about delivering quality care and supporting a team to achieve excellent outcomes for clients, we would love to hear from you.
