We’re looking for a friendly and committed GCSE Tutor to join our team and provide one-to-one support to secondary school students preparing for their GCSEs. Whether you're a qualified teacher, a graduate with tutoring experience, or someone who loves your subject and wants to inspire others – we’d love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to a student’s confidence, progress and exam success, through personalised, focused support.
What the role involves:
Delivering engaging and tailored 1:1 GCSE tuition in your subject area (Maths, English, or Science)
Supporting students with specific areas of difficulty and helping them build exam technique
Creating a positive, encouraging learning environment that helps learners grow in confidence
Planning and adapting lessons based on each student’s needs and progress
What we’re looking for:
A good understanding of the current GCSE curriculum in your subject
Excellent communication skills and a supportive, patient approach
Experience working with young people in a teaching or tutoring capacity
Reliability, professionalism and a passion for education
A degree in your subject area (or related), and ideally a teaching or tutoring qualification
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
