Why Tattershall Lakes?
Nestled in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside, Tattershall Lakes is a 400-acre lakeside paradise bursting with life and adventure. From paddleboarding to jet skis, Water-skiing, fishing, aqua park, archery, high ropes, zip wire, an indoor and outdoor “lido” pool. We also have 5 different bars and restaurants including a roof top bar overlooking our stunning water-skiing lake and an over 18's cocktail bar/venue. What you’ll be doing
As part of our team of holiday heroes, you will manage the grounds maintenance team to ensure everything is in good working order. Your work will include:
12. Landscaping, including paving and fencing
13. Grass cutting
14. You will be responsible for training, and developing the existing grounds team to enhance our guests' experience through a hands-on approach where required and team engagement
15. H&S Checks
16. Departments rotas in line with budget
17. Recruitment
18. Control of stock
19. Pretty much anything else that other people can’t do!
Guests and team will look to you to fix what’s broken and restore order, so you will need to be confident, friendly and obliging in addition to your practical skills.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
We will train you, but you’ll need to have the following skills and experience to apply for this role:
20. An understanding of Health & Safety at work
21. Experience of managing a team of trades and general assistants
22. Driving Licence essential
Add in the ability to think for yourself and be proactive, great people skills, unfailing enthusiasm and extremely high standards with an eye for detail - if you’ve got all that, you’re in the running.
